For Bati Ingredients :-
2 cups Whole wheat flour (Dardara)
2 tbsp Semolina (suji)
2 cup Ghee
2 tsp Ajwain (Carom seeds)
salt per taste
Take a big bowl and mix all ingredients (1 1/2 ghee add) .
Mix it well .
Knead firmly with some water .
Not mix so well.
Divide into 6 parts .and make a ball .as shown in pic
Now preheat your oven at 180 degree C.for 20 min .
Now keep it in oven at 180 degree for 15-20 min .
Now it looks slightly brown that means it is ready . now dip in ghee .
Bati is ready !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For Daal ingredients :-
250 gm Boiled Split Red Gram
100 gm chana daal Boiled
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped tomato
1 tbsp green chilli
1/2 tbsp ginger paste
1/2 tbsp garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
2-3 bay leaves (tejpatta)
2 cloves
2 red chilli dry
1 chakra phol
salt to taste
2 tbsp ghee.
2 tsp cumin seeds
Pinch of asafetida (hing)
Now take a heated pan put the ghee.
Add cumin seeds all garam masaslas(whole) and hing.
Wait for 5-6 sec and now add green chlli , onion . ginger garlic .
Cook it .now it looks like brown now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt .and cook for 2 min .
Now add tomato
Now add 2 tbsp water.and cook it .for 6-7 min.
Cook for 10 min at medium flame .
Add some chopped coriander leaves .
Spicy Rajwadi daal is ready to eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
